Microphone and audio (RECORD_AUDIO permission)

If you use features that involve voice input, the Service will request access to your device microphone.

• Audio captured while you are actively using a voice feature.

• To enable voice features you choose to use (for example creating a note from speech).

When it is collected:

• Only when you start a voice feature and your device shows the active microphone indicator (where supported by your device).

Storage:

• Audio may be uploaded to our servers or third-party processors to provide the feature and may be stored for 3 years before deletion.

You can refuse microphone access:

• If you do not grant microphone permission, voice features will not work, but the rest of the Service should continue to work.

Device and usage data

• App activity and diagnostic data (for example crash reports, performance data, and error logs).
• Approximate location derived from IP address (if you use online features), not precise GPS location unless explicitly stated.
